This group originated at the University of Washington Maternal Infant Care Center after social workers there identified a need for support for women who were receiving diagnoses of prenatal conditions. The group carried on with Theresa in her private practice, where she shaped and refined the structure of the group. In 2015, Theresa passed the group on to Lexie, who has been running the group ever since. Recently, Lesli has joined as a co-facilitator.
